i am planning on replacing the cooler and oil lines. my cooler also cools the power steering. does one need a cooler on the power steering?

Yes, much cleaning. Diesel fuel and compressed air. You just can't get it all. It gets driven into the nooks and crannies under 60-80psi. Then seems to reenter the oil path randomly. It's hard enough to build one clean without sabatoging yourself.
