I wanted to get some thoughts on making my trailer easier to load boat on. I have a 33' 1981 cigarette and a custom (probably homemade) trailer.
I only have the two main bunks. I was thinking about adding guides and additional bunks. Where is the best place to buy the mounts? My boat is about 12,000 #.
Thanks for the help.

I don't think your gonna find a place to buy mounts for a custom made trailer. Steel trailer I assume? Easy enough to make up the mounts and weld them where you want them while the boat is on the trailer. Don't make them too tight to the hull making it impossible to get into the perfect position. Guide poles are also an option. I use them on my Myco trailer for my Cat. Looks weird but I need to really sink the trailer to float the boat off and thats the only way I know where the trailer is that deep, no lifts around. We have it down to a science and the wife can load the boat by herself if she had too.
