I recently bought a saltwater boat that has some paint damage on the K-Planes. I wanting to take them off to refinish. How can I remove the paint without damaging them.

You could probably use some aircraft or paint stripper, then have them powder coated.

Easiest thing to do would be to buy some 380 plates and sell those 300's to me and let me worry about it.

I would just have them sand blasted and powder coated, Im doing that with my eddie marine 380s. Im taking them to a guy up in Glen Carbon to have them done, along with my swim platform..

I don't think I would sand blast them. They are cast aluminum. Don't know how well they would take that.

Is it just the bottom plates and is it chips and nicks or is it bubbling/corroding????

If its just chips and nicks, then you could just feather the damaged spots out, prime and paint them. If its bubbling, you should probably strip them.

I'm not sure if Kplanes are painted or powdercoated from the factory. A chemical paint stripper should remove whatever is on them.
You can just prime and paint over either one as long as what is there still has a good bond.

I would have them painted as opposed to powdercoated.

I always bead blast them and then have them powder coated have always turned out nice. The hardest part is getting them off then apart.
