We always ran reverse rotation motors on the cats with arneson drives,I have dyno'ed a bunch of them,The Hp was right there with the standard rotation or a little higher.

Looks like you are on the right track, Bob will set you up with a couple of torqe monsters.
I use the AC Rapid fire #1's. As far as a oil cooler, I use the EMI 3" combo cooler, you will need big ones with all the weight of the boat. Most guys are using a 750-850 CFM carb on a engine like yours. If you do not have wideband O2 on your boat getting it dyno'd would probably save you some headaches. They could jet it for you and get your mix correct. I have a Holley MPI kit and I tune mine on the fly with my laptop.

Thanks for the reply. I still dont have the carbs figured out but I did get 2 DUI Ignition systems for the project.

They work well, I have the Marine version with computer controlled timing. I have run it two full seasons and no corrosion or rust.

Yes Sir AFR 264's stamped 265, 155# spring seat.
