The weights of fuel, specific gravity, octane, flash point etc all change in different altitudes and different areas of the country. We have also seen weight per gallon change with ethanol related fuels. Regardless my situation is that I have to worry about how much fuel, water, and coolers are on my boat and I dont like that. My new axles will allow 14,000# so I can trailer full, empty, with 30 cases of beer.....whatever I feel like. I am tired of worrying about making it TO the water.... now I just have to worry about the boat running when I get there lol

Thats true and good luck. And realistically the change in fuel weight is not going to matter on something small like a boat.

Really? My boat empty vs. full of fuel is over 1200 pounds. The boat and trailer dry is about 9000 pounds so that is more then 10% being added to the load on the trailer. Not a small amounts.
