I have 8 of those in my boat LOVE THEM!! Clean a loud!!

Update:

We were out this weekend and I figured I would put the speakers to the test (waterproof). While jamming the stereo at out local party spot I figured it was time to wash down the boat. With stereo at 1/2 volume I washed (soap and water) the back of the boat and then rinsed, thus completley wetting down the DC Gold Speakers. I experience no issues. These speakers continue to amaze myself and others that hear them. As my Kicker Speakers (in the cockpit) age. I will be replacing with DC Golds!!!

Babb is now DC Gold. They bought Babb and use better vented magnets now. They still have the same 3 year warranty.
