i took a sound clip but the weird thing is that the banging has stopped! but the compression on the gauge is reading much lower but I can't be a 100% because the gauge is 31 years old and probably not working properly...Ordered a new gauge so I am going to see what the oil pressure is actually reading... I think i busted something in the motor though but its not making all the racket it was...top speed I could get was 38mph with twin 454's on a 38ft scarab....so if there is a couple of cylinders that are dead, that is fine with me because i am probably going to run it till it dies and then swap both motors out for some 500hp 502's and get speed behind this thing....
