Speed gain is 1/2 mph

They do sound much better at idle, and free rev in neutral. Sound at WOT is hard to notice IMO

they were already off my 496/whipple when i bought the engine...can't tell the difference...no issues so far

I removed mine and used the same gaskets when the engine was about two years old. I didn't notice any differance..

freshwater use it will never see the ocean, and after the risers there is a large s bend to the tips that escape right below the water line. Is it ok to remove them?

If your exhaust tips exit below the waterline I would recommend keeping the turbulators in place to avod the condensation rusting that will occur on the stock iron head seats and valves with moderate idling time.
