yep have done a few..you need to put a sharper bend in the 90* fitting,,almost 120* and it will fit..i ran the hose along the intake and valve cover and used a slightly shorter belt.

run the hose along side the valve cover and once you follow the curve on the front of the valve cover you will w\see wht i mean, the 90/120* part will be facing the towards the intake..leave the fitting loose and tighten the belt first then position the fitting and tighten it..

Do I try to put more bend on the fitting I have or do I get a new hose made with more bend on the fitting?

I have put several of these manifolds on with the same clearance issues. Like it has been said, run the line over the valve cover, leave it loose until the belt is on and then you may have to tweek it ever so slight to clear. TAKE YOUR TIME!!!!!

loosen the pump and bring it forward,,install the hose and fitting, once its installed you can bend the fitting forward until it clears the manifold then tighten the pump back up..if you cant get the fitting to move you may have to use a tubeing bender to bend the tube on the fitting..go slow so you dont kink the tube,,if it starts to kink squeeze the kink with a pair of channel locks.

Could you get longer/shorter belt to change the position of the power steering so it has enough clearance?

I had the same problem.I just spaced the pump bracket out with a washer .never had a problem with belt alignment .

I forgot to mention if you leave it pushing on it too much you will wear a hole in your line.

Thanks for all the help everyone. Stopped by a hydraulic hose place on my way home from work and the old timer there tried to come up with something but couldn't figure it out. Took mrfixxall's advice and asked if he could put a 120 degree bend on the line without kinking it. He made a nice bend, took it home and it fit right in with about a 1/8" clearence from the manifold. Only thing I did different was I was able to run the line downward and below the manifold. Thanks for all the help again.
