Default help with Speedmaster 3A's oil change

Guys,
I want to change the drive oil in my buddies boat with speedmaster 3A's and it has resivoirs on the back wall aprox how much drive oil do they hold. I have been told so many different numbers. I would just like to have enough before I do the job and not have to run back and forth to the marina.
Thanks

You need just about 10 quarts. Don't fill the reservoir. I usually set the level so that it is very low when cold out. If you don't, it will barf on a hot day, or if you run it hard.

Ditto - no oil in the "reservoir". It is an expansion tank for the oil.

+ 2 on the drive reservoir, don't fill there!

There's a site window on the inner transom assembly that you use to determine level and whether they're filled or not. In the attached picture it's the "milky" looking circle in the bottom towards the right.

Fill from the bottom and replace the screws as you go up and the oil starts to seep out each one then check site glass inside
