I would like to upgrade to the center riser style, but the way the boat is shaped I'm not sure it would work with the original engine hatch. I'm not sure there is enough room height wise.....and yes I was talking about thru-hull, dam auto correct.

come to think about it i have never seen a thru-hull exh behind log manifolds without a transmission running along next to the exhaust hoses...you could do it by removing the tips, putting hoses on, and putting tips into hoses. on subject of center risers, i forget who, but 1 major aftermarket exh manufacturers website has a catalog with all dimensions in it. i think it will fit under hatch though. that nova is a pretty deep hull.

Yeah osco has the dimensions for the center risers. Nevermind the pair is 6-7 hundred dollars.... Lol. Im possitive I could get it to fit but I would most likely have to cut the rear of the boat and scrap the engine cover. It gets really tight when installed. Still on the lookout for a set of older log risers to try and fix my overheating problem.

go to osco marine's home page. click mercruiser. go to page 12. there are both risers for your set-up. down to prop and straight out the back. you might be able to fit them with the couple inch outward bow on the early Nova transom. basic power has the prop-style riser for 110 bucks.
