What's the beat place to get tinned wire at? Would like to get what I have now all 3 colors black red green. in one but will make my Owen if needed.

I but it at DX Electric in Houston but I am Sure somebody in your area will carry it as well. The tinned wire is all they use inside control panels for Oil Rigs etc.

Damn.... My allergies are driving me nuz and thus making my eyes water and blurry. WHen I read the title to this thread it saw "best place to get tanned wife". THink it is time to close my eyes and go back to bed. SOrry for the hi-jack. just thought it was funny, especially when I read the thread it didn't make since until I rubbed my eyes clear......

That link seems to be a great find, but I have bought it at West Marine before. They are wicked expensive though.

Coolest part about that place, is they will assemble your marine cables, for $1.00!

Example. Last winter, I upgraded to 100 AMP alternators. My stock merc wire was 10 Gauge. I decided to go with 6gauge, from the alternator to the starter. So I ordered two lengths of 6 gauge wire, the proper lugs, heat shrink tubing, and custom assembly. A few days later, I had two proper length cables assembled and shrink wrapped. Total cost was something like 20 bucks shipped!
