Anyone know where i can get the updated software for the Garmin 2010c model chartplotter? Garmin claims discontinued and no software available. My friend's chartplotter hasn't been updated since 06' when he purchased it. He also needs to adapter with the usb port and a Garmin data card. We tried Ebay/craiglist. The Bluechart g2/vison wont work. Any help appreciated.

There was a business fight between Garmin and somebody who was producing cards for certain Garmin GPS units (I can't remember who the other firm was, might have been Jeppesen) and those cards are no longer produced. I went through the same thing, ended up tossing the Garmin. It was too bad the unit still worked but since I moved the boat, no software.
