Power Tilt Resvoir
 

I have a 1989 292 SR1 Formula. I have been told the someone makes a kit to adapt the newer 4 screw resvoir to the older pumps which only used 1 bottom screw through the use of an adapter plate. Anyone have a source for such a kit? Thanks

Looks like you need kit 883169A1 if the pump is '89. Check if it has the 4 mounting ears. Probably won't. That kit is over $400 most places but here's one on ebay for quit a bit less.

One good thing about it is your getting a new valve body with it.
Just do a search on the part number and see what you come up with.

Better off just buying a whole new pump that already has the four bolt valve body than the retrofit kit.

Agree. However the one in the link is for a late model which uses the quick connect lines which I would be pretty sure you don't have.
