I want to redo my snap in carpet. I have upholstery background and a machine so i would like to cut and bind it myself. I could add a little custom look without the custom price.

Where can you buy marine carpet for snap in application with like an aqualoc backing or similliar by the yard?

Everyone wants me to send them a template, and I just want a square piece.

Have you tried Corithian, the makers of Aqualoc? Surely you can buy a square piece. For all they know, you have a square floor. Or are they saying the template is their way of guaranteeing you get what you ask for? When they did mine, I wanted the hole left unbound for my table post as they couldn't bind it w/o have a cut come in from the edge, which I didn't want. So I just had them cut the hole. However that unbound edge voided any warranty on that piece, which I agreed to. I bound it myself by hand. Just a heads up.
