Depending on the rebuild prices you find it may be worth considering a new Edelbrock marine carb- can catch them on fleabay for mid 200's.

quick fuel is a great carb, Made in bowling green, Ky. they have alot of features without a huge price tag. Easy to deal with and close to you. They were holley engineers that left when holley got bought. Plus they make marine specific carbs; aluminum bodies, billet metering blocks and stainless base plates, Teflon coated shafts. Which are a few features you need to keeping the carb nice in a marine application. Some tuners do not offer these as standard features and charge more. For the price and features they offer going to be hard to beat.

Whats it cost for rebuild and polish or shiny zinc coat?

2nd on Quick Fuel. I had a set on some 454's. Great guys and you can walk in and talk to them. They run all their carbs. Mine were as smooth as efi. Fair price for them. They are right off of the Natcher parkway, just off of Russellville road.
