Upgrade from Bennett Tabs to K Planes?

Diego has 280's on his 272 which is very close in size to mine. They seem to do well...in fact he can run on plane at 2200 RPM with full tab. I found a set with pumps for $800...I'm tempted but for now I'm going with my 12" Bennetts, I need a new GPS more than I need K Planes.
