Rbesola I'm looking for the same thing. I'm just running NA 572's but I'm tired of my carbs.

I've watched a million videos on holleys terminator and it looks like the way to go. Coast guard certified and all, rated up to 650 hp which would be perfect for my 540 na build im leaning toward. Includes the pump and everything.

I'm real happy with the Holley HP setup and their software is a snap. I did this over the winter. Just make sure you mount the O2's where they are not going to see any water. Just got back from LOTO this week with 20 hiccup free hours.

Very cool! Love the stacks. On a side note... Talked to Simpson motorsports for a good half hour today and he didn't sound all too positive on the holley stuff on boats. Also said the tuning is not just a matter of running it? He did say if i go that route to go with a multi port setup for a more even fuel distribution. Basically just not the new "game changing" terminator. So far im not sure what to believe

Keep in mind, the stock 500efi intake is only good to a little over 600hp before it won't flow enough.

Thanks. Absolutely true that tuning is not just a matter of running it. Certainly need to setup the base map and then make adjustments based on what your motor needs. My biggest adjustments have been in the area of idle and acceleration enrichment. I equate most of that to the stacks since they flow so darn much air. Also, keep in mind YOU set the target A/F ratios and the O2 provides the feedback to the ECU which makes adjustments to maintain those ratios. Like the old saying "garbage in, garbage out"; if you get those AFRs wrong the computer isn't going to know as it will just try to maintain what you set. The base maps provided are pretty close, but you should do some plug reads just to be sure with your motor and adjust accordingly. I would recommend downloading the manual from the Holley website and read through the tuning setup section - it explains it far better than I can. Also, not sure of the issue with Holley on boats; it is working well for me....other than I shorted an O2 because I had it placed wrong and that's not a Holley issue. Not sure any other systems would be a whole lot different. Regardless of what system you go with, make sure you have someone that has installed and setup that system that can answer questions you have as they come up.

I have a pair of complete Cutler systems. One is perfect and one has a bad ECM. They were on my Dad's boat and he went back to carbs, as no one around here is much of an EFI expert. I am sure there is a way to have an ECM made. Make offer!
