My last boat was a 272 with 365 horse smallblocks/alphas. Boat touched 70 aired out. I launch out of corey creek in blue point. Mostly head over to davis park or talisman.

I've never owned a boat that ran over 75mph and have done a dozen Poker Runs over the years.
The Support Our Troops Poker Run last week at LOTO had a 60mph speed limit.

I guess I will just have to plan a trip somewhere....

Being the original topic also talked about PR on a budget, what kind of prices do most of these events cost to get into? I know it is donated and I'm all for that. But some of the events I see have a $650 entry fee. All said and done that means I'm looking at a $1k weekend. Maybe that is just for the bigger events?
there is one on 7-17 on lake st clair, normally 100.00 per head forthe special olympics it also includes 3 meals
