i figured about that speed the guy at the marina said 70??? that is why i asked thanks getrdunn i have a 24zt checkmate that has a 383 procharger 573hp hydralic sterring and k plates gps 83mph run out of hull and kinda scary looking to up grade

There is at lease one person on here with the small blocks, I thin they are right at 70, no more.

the main thing you need to be concerned with is the transom, forward bulkhead and possibly stringers rotted out, these are known to have these issues, so ck closely

I would look for a 35 instead of a 32, a lot better balanced boat. Same power, the 35 is faster.
