With all the talk about engine troubles with the CMI Sport tube headers on this site I have never had a customer lose a engine over them. I have seen them with cracks and leaks that caused valve and cylinder rust issues. The E-tops on the other hand have cost 2 of my customers total engine failures. That is why we now push the change over to Stainless Marine exhaust. The SM Gen III's are rated for use up to 1400 HP and on a resent re-rig the cost with tails was more than $10K less than going with the CMI's.

I have Stainless Marine Hi Torque manifolds and have had no problems at all with them, my risers are dry and dump right at the tips..
