I take that back. You'd be better off pulling them out and selling them. Try and find a set of 502/415HP mags with around 500 hours to drop in. Its not worth doing modifications and will significantly reduce resale value.

I took one and dropped hp 500 cam in it and remaped the ecu and put dry exhaust on it gave it a little more pep

They do if it's a "mag". Mike Sommers had 1995 gen v 502 mag MPI engines. He had them redone and installed stroker kits to make them 540's. His original GM forged rotating assemblies were removed. When I asked him if he wanted to sell me them, he said too late because he threw them in the scrap bin. :(

im suprised dave didn,t get them,if they were good i cant see chitcanning them.

I have a line on a complete MPI setup (not the motor, but just the manifolds, etc.). Are these good induction systems? What kind of power will they support?

The Merc. MPI setups make good midrange torque but run out of breath just past 5000 rpm. The most power I have seen out of one NA is 565hp. If you are looking to go EFI they are ok but there are definitely better ways to go about it
