Just another prop testing day and then trouble,reversion,. Tell me what you think of these pics.

OUCH - looks like junk, buy a set of aftermarket aluminum heads. OH I see you are in Flor I da. Maybe not aluminum. But definitely after market.

Im gonna grind them some and see how they turn out surprisingly valves didn't leak and seats look good. Ill post picks when they cleaned up.

just give it an acid bath. it will clean all that rust off without countless hours of grinding.

dip anything else you have into that bath as well. one change on those instructions, never add water to an acid... always an acid to water. when you're done with the bath just dilute it with lots of water to safely get rid of it. its not terribly acidic at all.

Funny, I have a huge bag of that acid at my shop that i use to clean the bottoms of boats, time to play with some acid

i would not reuse those heads,to much rust espically if they are peanut port heads as they are a dime a dozen.

They are 088 heads and the pic looks a little worse than it really is and that is the worst. Hopefully i can save it and fix my reversion problem also so I don't do this again. I'll post more pics when i clean it up.

Mike peanut heads are now in high demand due to OSO, prices have shot way up
Those heads look like scrap to me.
