Anyone ever deal with these guys.Looks like a good deal but who knows. At this price if it lasted 3 years it would be a deal.

Not a bad deal, but by the time you finish it ready to go in the boat is going to be expensive. Diego9040 has a pair of very similar 383's with exhaust for about half of what it would cost to build them. They have dyno time only

I would never use hypereutectic pistons in a boat motor. Way to much stress on a marine engine. I would go forged all the way

I have considered buying one of diegos motors but they are setup for 91 octane thats a deal breaker for me not sure what it would take besides retarding the timing on them to get them to be reliable on 89 octane

Ayuh,..... The HT383 from yer local GM Dealer ain't too bad a deal,...

Forged crank, 'n Vortec heads,....
