Default 383 long block

Anyone ever deal with these guys.Looks like a good deal but who knows. At this price if it lasted 3 years it would be a deal.

Not a bad deal, but by the time you finish it ready to go in the boat is going to be expensive. Diego9040 has a pair of very similar 383's with exhaust for about half of what it would cost to build them. They have dyno time only

I would never use hypereutectic pistons in a boat motor. Way to much stress on a marine engine. I would go forged all the way

I have considered buying one of diegos motors but they are setup for 91 octane thats a deal breaker for me not sure what it would take besides retarding the timing on them to get them to be reliable on 89 octane
