Has anyone put engine pencil anodes in place of the block drain plugs? Were you able to find one nubby enough to not restrict flow? Engine is a 97 small block chevy, any input is appreciated!

Only on exhaust manifolds and intake manifolds and it was a long time ago for the intake.. Have never put them in the block.

in the intake is essentially in the block. raw water salt use, they can't hurt.
