Lots of threads on this but I want to make sure I get it. I'm going to be running my wires soon to support trim for 2 drives, and tabs. From what I have read, I really only need two wires from switch panel to EACH of the drives and each of the tabs.

Blue - 4 wires total. One each for 2 tabs and 2 drives. Each of the blue wires will control the up function.
Green - 4 wires total. One each for 2 tabs and 2 drives. Each of the green wires will control the down function.

I will send power directly from battery to solenoid on pump and connect above to switch sides of selenoid.

I will pick up power from my fuse panel to switches (red) to feed power to the green and blues when switch is closed.

Of course there is a lot of complications at the switch panel itself to deal with diodes for throttle switch, both buttons, etc.. but I think I get that part. Just want to make sure my main runs are right. Seems most of the pre-made harnesses have 3 wires but I'm thinking it is basically 2 wires per item to be trimmed, I wanted to double check.

Thanks again,
Tom

Those three way harnesses usually take the 12v from the stern and bring it to the switch and send it back....yes I know doesn;t make much sense to me also. I ran them the same way that you plan to.

Perfect! Thanks for the confirmation. I already seem to have about 5000 wires going from stern to cockpit so if I an reduce 4 more, that would be nice.
