No never had an issue going back in .. Worst case I have someone turn the prop to line up the splines

Glue the leather washer pads to the inner transom plate or you will be fighting them falling off on the install.

Pulled the exhaust this evening. Plan on pulling the motor tomorrow.. I will let you guys know how it went.....Wish me luck, I am going in deep... LOL

I never pull the exhaust either loosen the hose clamps only on the exhaust .it will slide right out

I was suprised how easy it was. Eight bolts, water hose, a few cables, and a tug forward. Presto..... it was outta there....

yup and reassembly is the same ..I have the exhaust on as well

I would pull the drives if only to grease and check universals and bellows etc...
