Default 496 Risers

I have a set of 496 Mercruiser manifolds but dont have the risers yet, I have a couple questions that I hope someone can answer for me. Will aftermarket risers fit into stock manifolds? Is any Brand of riser better than another? Does anyone have a set of risers (need 4) for sale? Thanks Jamie

I have 4 risers. 2 of them are bolted to manifolds, sell all for 500.00 + shipping.

Only the 496 riser will fit the 496 manifolds. I think there may be another company but I cant find them anymore and if I remember right they cost 3 times what you will find the Merc risers for. They are SS so I wouldn't be afraid of ebay and such.

Randy, are the manifolds the risers are bolted to aluminum? For what you are asking I cant see why someone has not snatched them up.

This set of manifolds are not aluminum, I haven't tried to advertise them. I just saw this post & figured I would offer them up. They are just gathering dust here.

Are you sure they look real shiny for cast steel. See if a magnet will stick to them to be sure.
