Default What oil thermostat are guys using these days?

The one I have currently isn't performing as advertised, it's more for a car set up with air-air vs. water cooling and just isn't allowing my oil to reach temp. I need one that opens at 210 degree's give or take, and there are not many out there. The only thing CP sells anymore won't clear my oil pan. They don't sell the remote style anymore.

I see this one from Mocal and Canton, anyone use these with good results?

Thanks-

I have a couple Brand New Canton's that I ended up with for some reason. Someone must have stiffed me on them at some time I bet.

Shoot me an offer.

Two people beat you to asking (one is thread starter) for 1 each so I have you down as the third that asked. Yes, I checked day/time to see who asked 2nd, 3rd, etc

I had to wait for today to resopond to all that's asked, 'cause I wanted to make sure I actually still have them (I do) and that the clamps that come with them are still in the boxes, and they are.

So again, I do have 2 new in the box Canton Oil T-stats.

To those I've responded to in PM....let's talk $$$ and yes/no so I can respond to others that have asked.

Thanks.

I ran the permacool 1070 last season without any issues. This season I'm switching to the merc HP500 head mount unit to clean up the routing a bit.
