Best place to get hydraulic lines
I moved my trim and tab pumps and need shorter lines. They were long to start with and now I don't feel like wrapping them back and forth.
Where is a good place to buy or should I have a shop shorten them? |
guys who do lines for farm equipment. there are no stock lines. each is made to fit the application. they can shorten yours of make up new.
|
Not sure on how much pressure is in the system, but you can get braided stainless line and AN fittings that are good to 1000 psi from summit and make your own. Definitely check with someone who knows how much pressure the system makes first, though.

Phil, I had a couple of mine remade by a member on here, forget screen name, but you gotta be real careful on clocking the fittings when the lines are cut to exact length.
Found it Jb-fse http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/g...-get-them.html |
Any good hydraulic shop. They are in every area.

Parker - PTH-3 is the hose.
Or you can do hard lines. You can either use the coated brake lines or use flareable 3/16 stainless. Or you can use swageloks, with flex line and hardline. |
colliflower is the big national hyd shop that I use...

Thanks, MD |
Update:
That shop doesn't have the ends or tools to take care of them. I am going to look better on Saturday, I may be spending to much effort to shorten them 12". I'll see if I can route them better the way they are, if not Orlando it is but I can't get there for a while. I moved these pumps from in front of the motors to the side, above the batteries. |

if you still need a place, amazon hose in orlando is good too. Depending on what you need, they can usually make them up while you wait.
i used amazon hose about 30 yrs ago when i lived in orlando for my boat plumbing needs. Thay were very helpful and (at that time) very knoweledgable of boats. Good luck |
