French seam
Piping ads some strength to the seam. imo
Windlace is the big piping 1/2'' used on old cars.

Wife redid our entire Carver - sunbrella and vinyl and the interior with an old portable Viking walking foot. Everything, even the drapes.
Can see the work on my photobucket pages.

But now I am going to surprise her with a new servo motor Juki DNU1541-S for her Bday. So she can sew up some more stuff for me. Nice guy, eh?

Thinking the same thing. Now if the wife got one for me it would be a different story.

I do boat interiors (amatuer). Have a good singer, but really need a walking foot for it. Non paying member but if your curious I can text you some pics. I am doing the rear of a 272 now.
