Default Isky 270/280 vs comp xm270h cam comparison

What do some of you more knowledgeable guys think ? I'm stuck between two flat tappet cams for my 454 mag rebuild. my boat is a bit more heavy, Cruisers 2400 Rogue, I will be wanting to add the 496 manifolds and risers also. What do you think will run best ? To me they look similar overall. The Comp obviously will have a more choppy idle.( I'd like to disect the two cams ) . Here are specs : Isky 270/280 Mega cam .542/.565, lsa 114, Dur. @ .05 221/232, adv. 270/280. Comp xm270h .544/.547, Dur. @ .05 226/236, adv. 270/286, lsa 114. Also open to a different cam if you think there is a better one for my application. I won't be able to do a roller cam on my budget at this time.

what kind of exhaust are you running?i have a 270h in my 27fever.the motor is a carbed 502.its a nice cam with a decent idle.i have silent choise exhaust hooked to emi manafolds and short risers.this is about as big as I would go on my motor w/that exhaust.
