Good input. Kinda funny I remember one from way back I had in my 93 challenger 28 and it was big and heavy. I'd pack one in a back pack before I'd mount one of those again.

I have a ProMarine, they are programmable for your battery type. I have the dual battery unit and I put a shore power plug on the boat along with a breaker panel so I could have 120VAC in the cabin as well. I love it, I keep my batteries in the boat and just plug in the shore power when I'm at the cottage for the weekend during the winter to keep the batteries topped off. It has an intelligent cycling circuit that doesn't overcharge the batteries but keeps them properly maintained. I have 7 year old batteries that still hold a charge like new, definitely worth the money.
