Glad it was that simple. It sounded like my buddy's boat that hydro locked once.

As for the water, make sure the hoses to the exhaust are clear and flow water.

It's pretty normal for the port side to be warmer. Particularly when running on the hose for some reason.

One side is always going to be hotter by some. It has to do with uneven water flow and distribution of it. It is normal. If you are seeing blistering or big differences then you might have problem. Also if one side of exhaust is seeing steam and the other side is not at all, it could be a internal water leak on that side and or a cooling issue.

I will keep an eye on it and possibly look into the water pump.

Other than that, I think it's ready for the 2015 season.

I just submitted my application for a slip at Erie Basin. I believe that's where the poker run starts from (Templeton landing), but I'm way too much of a novice to roll with that crew.

I'm a novice too. It's a great group of guys. I only have a 21ft Cobia BR I'm installing a 355 into.
