I use Taylor or MSD,universal fit so I can make them route perfectly.Plus you get those cool wire number collars.

I went with the sierra's. Everything worked well except the coil wire. The boot would not "comfortably" fit the coil. Anyone else experience this?

I haven't used their but I here they are good.

The coil wire boot fitment is typicall for most wire sets, as the wire depth (where it pushes in and 'clicks' into coil vs boot can be off a little. Sometimes, dielectric grease can make the boot push away from coil.

If the fit isn't good, I'll schooch the boot up the wire some so I can push wire into coil till it 'clicks' and then I'll hold wire and will other hand gently push boot down onto coil tower.

I actually use a MSD coil wire retainer on boats that are run hard in the rough because I've had just a couple pop off in my lifetime.

Yes that can be common with the Sierra coil wire. Some we have cut the boot to fit better. Some we changed their boot out.

Not true of the under head Moroso wires I bought. They offer 2 configurations, over and under.
