I am in favor of getting rid of the VST completely - Too many problems years ago. I do not see them anymore coming to me.

Like the Weldon pump and returning the fuel back to the tank - splicing the fuel fill install the return adaptor is what have done in the past for a jist of it.

Originally a 502mpi, want to make sure it runs good before they get pulled. Getting small blocks with blowers that will make750 easy

So I had a stalling issues dropping in and out of gear. Took into shop to check computer and I'm being told low fuel pressure. So I went out and ordered new pump, added a efi regulator. So I fired her up in driveway and I'm still only seeing 30 lbs at idle ? Was told I should have 43 . I see it still has a mechanical pump on it. Is this normal? Should I remove that mechanical pump no block that off? my pump wax located on back of block.

Regulators are adj, did you run the adj down? it takes little volume to make that pressure at idle, if so your lift pump is likely the issue

The regulator should be after fuel rail...not right after pump.

You still have the VST module hooked up ? How about the mechanical pump?

Or are you confusing us by having a cool fuel system and this is a VST thread ?

Do you have photos or can draw a diagram exactly how you have it ?

]Wow...I'm getting more confused... the vst is gone... mechanical pump is there... I was told from the shop that I needed a regulator after fuel pump before rail. Not trying to confuse anyone. I'm the one confused now...lol hope this drawing helps. Thanks for your help
