Mike if you send me a basket when I dyno I will make you a killer deal on my 049's. In fact if you wanna make a run up for a day and help out I will pass them onto you. Just might cost you a couple of pulleys.

More power racing is about 40 minutes from grand haven. http://morepowerinc.com/ If it's to far I understand. I would bring heads with and give you deal worth driving up for (cheap) and have some fun at the same time. Builds are my 548's, tbs 871's, promaxx 317's valakoized, holley 850's. SR 900/1075 sc cam. Not doing any cam swaps at this point. Just tuning round one, AFR's, EGT's, BSFC, Timing, jetting. Not trying to squeeze every bit of HP but don't want any slouches either.

Dyno day went pretty well. First pull after break in made 920Hp with AFR's in the mid 13's. Kept removing boost and adding fuel and this is where we ended for the day. Idles great, no surge, purrs like a kitten down low, roars like a lion up top.

Awesome info man.

So, roughly two identical engines, except one having a 420 B&M , and other an 8-71 Littlefield. Both with 7lbs boost it appears?

Looking like the peak HP at 6000 was close, the B&M making a few more hp, but I noticed it looks like the B&M was making a fair amount peak more torque. Maybe do to the higher overdrive speed ..
