Probably 8-12 hours of labor

Well I'm making progress, found two places nearby that will do the work and one has provided a quote.

Ed, If I had time this spring I would do it for you at no charge, but involved with a kitchen and livingroom remodel at the house. If you want PM me with the shop that is going to do it

another option is to do what I did, I hired someone to install and align, Than I did all of the hookups. He charged me 4 - 5 hours of labor. Than it took me about 8 hours to hook everything up and re install the drives. Wasn't complicated, but it isn't the funnest job in the world

It depends.

Installing two BBC in a full stagger 39' Top Gun is a VASTLY different experience than installing the same in a 30' Baja.

Doing it once or twice is easy enough, but the pros have to factor in chiropractic visits and compensatory beers to make it worthwhile.

If I didn't have a homeowners association to deal with and a 72 year old body this post wouldn't be here !!! I've also done this stuff in the past so I have some knowledge regarding what it takes to complete the work. And yes I know there is the possibility for some form of glitch.

I know what that's like and not fun is a understatement. I will never own another side by side.
