Default Trim Pump Hose

What is everyone doing for custom trim pump hoses? Went to a place today to replace the Parker teflon coated SS tube. They wanted $14 a foot. I have 56 total feet which puts me around $800 for hoses. Also who is doing custom bending for fittings. None of this stuff is catalog equipment.

I go to a local race car shop that builds the lines for me. Tell him the lengths and what fittings I need and pick them up the next day. I just had 2 lines made 7 1/2 feet long. I think they were $125 pot the door. Stainless braided teflon lines. The cater to the sprint car guys and have a lot of dirt track type parts. If you have a place like that. Go. Race car stuff is cheaper than custom boat parts for sure

This wasn't a boat shop. It was a industrial hydraulic shop. He said that the 3/16 teflon coated SS is wicked expensive. He actually called a local race shop. He said his price would be similar. Quoted me 175 a hose for 10' and 225 for the 15'.

Hard lines with 3/16 stainless line. Either flare it or use swageloks. Use small sections of PTH-3 or factory time hoses at the ends if needed.

Parker pth-3 is what costs $14 a foot...we ended up re- using lines and switching out the ends.

I use 316SS tubing in lengths, bend it with a good bender . Then either flare it , silver solder , or tig weld on a fitting . Use short flex hoses from there.
Ive done it many many times with 3/16 to 1/2 , and have a company called Brown and Miller , in Concord NC mandrel bend all the way up to 2".

I have a 1998 mercury promax 300 and the oildyne trim pump. The ram has one male and one female end. What fittings do I need to make my own lines with -an fittings and hose?

Is it because if that specific size for the price?? maybe go with 1/4" line if cheaper with appropriate fittings?
