This temp fixed worked amazing. Starboard engine IAT was 140* ish (Feeding intercooler from crossover tube) the Port engine was 103* feeding from the seawater pump housing. Engine temps were normal, I actually dropped the intercooler feed line size from 1/2" to 3/8" as I was worried about bypassing too much water and not giving enough to the engine. There was little difference from the overboard outlet between the 1/2" and the 3/8" lines. HUGE difference was the temperature of the intake air.

I smeared some JB weld around the bronze fitting, scuffed the water pump housing and cleaned with solvent. I'll pull it out and check the fitting/housing when my tubes get here from CP Performance.

SB, this is basically what I did on my 3.3 whipple setups. Directly after the pump I have a 1.25x.75x1.25 "Y" fitting. I adjusted the depth of my transom mounted pickups (ended up quite deep at about 1 3/8" - 388 Hustler stepped hull) for proper water pressure on the engines (15ish - I dont have stats and I also dump off the rear of intakes so not much restriction). Seems to be working great at keeping everything cool. Trying to shorten the pickups even 3/8" resulted in high oil temps. The IC's get tons of fresh water this way, engine oil temps are happy, and engine water temps dont even register (below 120). You do need to cut back some idle fueling but not much to worry about. Some people talk that those pickups must be creating drag, however, the boat needs what it needs. Shortening the two main pick ups and adding a 3rd for intercooler dedication in my opinion would be as much, if not more, drag.
