The worst part was the wife saying, 'Did we run out of gas'. To which I replied, 'Of course not....the other motor is still running fine'. Which it did for another 30 minutes at idle to get us back home to our lift.

And yes.....I did fess up and tell her it was a clogged flux capacitor.

I took a ride on the Harley about 3 weeks ago, went to put some Staybil in the tank for winter storage, popped the cap and the tank was empty , still showed 1/4 tank on the gauge, how I mad it home have no idea

The gage on my Roadglide is dead on but I always go by miles. I had an old shovelhead that would lie to you.

Discovered there is a company that will deliver Rec90 for about 30 cents cheaper than the local Marina. Got a knock at the door this morning and they were hooked up asking for a fuel load! Filled up the water separator and fuel filter with gas and presto blamo....we have engine noise.

Flushed the **** out of it, three rounds of Salt Away. More Christmas lights to b put up tomorrow and Friday.......Its for the children.



KISS....keep it simple stupid. Gotta remember that.

Glad you are back on the water! I just went though a similar experience. 3-hr idle from Sanibel Bridge into the night while also discovering Nav/Anchor lights were also obviously being affected by the Flux Capacitor issues. I made it back ad on to the lift. The Capacitor finally quit when I started to flush. Divine Universe had me covered getting back... Direct replacement Wema-Kus sender now on the way from FMT.

Would you share the fuel delivery source? Thanks in advance.

PS: I'll be watching at the Parade

Here ya go...Palmdale oil. They are out of Ft Myers. Punta Gorda delivery is on Wednesdays. New sender should be here in a few days. Hooking up an inverter to power the lights until we take them off Jan1st. I bought another jug of Salt away because it sat with salt water in it for two days and Im paranoid. Left riser is 130 and the right riser is 109. I also

Just a heads up you can buy 5 gallon jugs of salt away on eBay. That’s what I use and keep a gallon jug full for flushing. Easier and cheaper than always running out.
