Thats crazy Dan gets banned for warning a fellow member of the unscrupulous dealings of Bob Madera -- who is not an advertiser/paying member of this forum and he got banned??? WTF....

I wish I could get half the money and time back I lost because of Bob Madera / Marine Kinetics.... location --- his kitchen table in Rochester NY....

The moderator who hit the ban button should really reverse that decision if Bob was the reason.

It would be nice if the moderator that banned Dan could give us an explanation on this. If it was over the snake oil salesman, being as old as I am that is a term used to say silver tongued, sweet talker. Just a little more polite way of saying bullsh..er. imo hardly worth getting banned over. We have enough adversity facing us today, now censorship on a power boating site. Really come on. If one does a quick search you can easily see Dan is right on the mark. I thought this site was about helping your fellow boater out? Witch by the way includes getting taken advantage of. Anyways just my 2 cents.

I couldn’t agree more. Is it down to just the A list builders etc that can get all good reviews and just let the bad experiences with others pass without being known. Doesn’t seem very helpful in any way shape or form. So just let those hard working dollars on expensive builds go to crap over a ph call to the wrong individual. I have a difficult time believing all the threads and posts in the past are all BS. I have no direct experience with bob and won’t Tks to those who come forward. Sorry you guys had to take a big one for the team but again thanks!

Damn, that sucks. He had some of the best DIY builds and upgrades on this forum. I knew his boat from 20yrs ago and the transformation is unreal.

It's not like he doesn't have first hand experience (vs. peddling 3rd party hearsay) that was substantiated by others with the same experience... the "Beware" section is full of it.

Normally the Mods have piped in on the reason for the ban by now.....

There should be more than one moderator that agrees to ban someone especially someone who’s been an ongoing member for so many years. JMO. Maybe there is I don’t know!
