454 merc mag mpi + procharger
Hey guys, looking for some advice. I'm adding a procharger and a cam with some other mods and want some wisdom on fueling. First, is the fuel rail on a 2000 sufficient or will I need to modify it?. Second, should I use the boost reference regulator or just get a normal regulator? I do plan the have my ecm reprogrammed. If I'm missing something or you guys have found something else that works better I'm all ears. Thanks for any advice.

pull the rail and look at #8 hole,as for regulator, standard regulator.
on the fuel supply, increase the line size and look at your tank, take out the back flow valve, fuel filter head at min should be from a hp500 efi.

I would recommend getting a bigger oil cooler, lines, fittings, and block adapter. The stock remote oiling system is very inadequate on those motors, even in stock form! I have stock 502mpi's that would run 32 psi oil pressure hot WOT. I thought they were tired, upgraded everything I mentioned earlier, now I have 55 psi oil pressure hot at WOT and is dead consistent. Pretty sure the stock bypass valve in block is continually open on the stock system and circulates hot & unfiltered oil into block due to all the flow restriction.
