What wideband are you using and how long is the cable? I'm thinking about putting one in mine but some manufacturers say the cord can't be extended .

Some updated pics of where I'm at with the boat now.
I did all of the wiring for the dash on the bench and added in some weather proof automotive style connectors for easy wiring and easy removal if I ever have to pull the panel out in the future. All of the relays and their wiring is wired up inside the dash I don't have any pictures of that but I will add some later. I cut another hole in the dash and added a glove box since it didn't have one and plan to add usb charging ports inside the glove box for phones and whatever else. I finished getting the panel installed last night (Don't mind all of my greasy finger prints all over it). The dash is actually a deep purple color it really pops in the sun but its hard to get a good picture of it, I'll get a good one when its done and all cleaned up. I updated all of the gauges to gaffrigs and am still waiting on 4 of them I was told they will be built at the end of the month so hopefully I get them in early May to finish this thing up and get boating. I couldn't bring myself to replace the original Gaffrig speedo because it says "Active Thunder Race Boats" on the face and that's just awesome. https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...7178ebdc8a.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...8c15280559.jpg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...60bd611f48.jpg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...043dfec0d7.jpg |

If its ever needed though, it might be difficult for somebody else to decipher your wiring.

I have created pin outs and the wiring has numbers on the wires as well. The original harness with all red wires for the switch panel had no sort of information for it I had to trace and identify every wire. So if anything I am taking a step forward for any future electrical work. As far as the dash panel with the various color wiring with the pin outs and the numbered wires as well as such short runs to the gauges it should be easy. The harness from the boat end is the correct wire coloring and is pinned out as well. I should have mentioned that in the write up initially.

Finally got the rest of my gauges from gaffrig that I ordered back in November so I could finish up the dash. So if anyone plans on making an order be aware they're having the same supply issues as everyone else. Customer service was great at keeping me updated though. I have had the boat out a couple times this year and everything is working as it should and the cruise 9 Nav is such a handy tool to have.

That dash looks awesome!

Who did you source the push button switches from?
|
The buttons came from https://billetautomotivebuttons.com they have a marine section. They work great.

Great work...Thanks for sharing.
