As of 1/1/21, Comp Cams absorbed the little left of Crane Crams, which S&S cycle owned. Whom bought from Mikronite (sp?), which bought from Crane.
More fun facts, the same investment company that bought Edelbrock not long ago, also bought Comp Cams. Psst: Comp does advertise a cam very similar to the 525EFI cam. It’s called Extreme Marine 525EFI. XM525EFI for short. |
The comp cam is 114 where the CP performance cams are 112

I just installed the Comp cam in my 496 build. Was the closest I could find to the 741. I was surprised Summit had 5 of these in stock too. They don't have any heads though.

People seem to disregard the obvious choice...

Try calling Ron Sporl Performance Marine,(OSO member) he has a nice cam similar to a 741 he designed and has ground by Lanani. All Billet.

Like the following,.... any cam company will grind any of their cams on different separation if you want. Just a phone call away. And yeh, Bullet is a great company. :) |
