As of 1/1/21, Comp Cams absorbed the little left of Crane Crams, which S&S cycle owned. Whom bought from Mikronite (sp?), which bought from Crane.

More fun facts, the same investment company that bought Edelbrock not long ago, also bought Comp Cams.

Psst: Comp does advertise a cam very similar to the 525EFI cam. It’s called Extreme Marine 525EFI. XM525EFI for short.

I just installed the Comp cam in my 496 build. Was the closest I could find to the 741. I was surprised Summit had 5 of these in stock too. They don't have any heads though.

Hold up.. I like it! That a newer comp grind? I don’t recall ever seeing it….

edit: your gonna like that much better than what you had in your 540 if I recall correctly anyway. 👍 JMO

I was just putting general info out there in case others don't know.

Like the following,.... any cam company will grind any of their cams on different separation if you want. Just a phone call away.

And yeh, Bullet is a great company.
