Welcome to OSO, bad grammar is forgivable. Some members (myself included) display poor grammar even though English is their first language.
Get your post count up to ten, then you may post pictures, they can be in this thread and totally meaningless. But if you can make them entertaining it is appreciated.
Once you start asking questions and let us know what your goals are, you will receive lots of help.

I doubt Dyno facilities are common there. Try to get a carburetor that’s as set up as possible. Maybe pay to have one that’s been dyno tested and set up on a very similar engine to yours shipped over.

Zole 05-10-2022 01:36 PM

Yea...your right about dyno...there are no engines like my...the best we have are mercrusers 5.7...6.2....and 7.4...that is in liters we are in metrick sistem:D.So i dont have spare parts everything i need i have to order from USA and wait for 20 days to come..wery expencive...I have found a carb it is a 750 i think it has 2 acc pumps and 2 floats holly and im making a blowthrou aut of him.

Id recommend buying one setup to be a blow through carb from CSU or someone like that. It would be cheap insurance. Your science experiment carburetor could blow up your whole engine. Try to copy a proven engine combination as much as possible

I run a blow through carb set up and if you don't have access to a dyno at least get a wide band o2 set up it will make adjusting the carb a little less difficult

Zole 05-10-2022 09:32 PM

Thanks guys for the tips...A videband a/f guage is coming with the parts for the carb and a set of holly jets 64-99...

SB 05-10-2022 10:33 PM

Watched Engine Masters on TV (cable - motortrend channel) the other night, the episode they tested different blow thru carb hats and different positions of the hats with 8 02 sensors (1 per cylinder) and all i can say is yikes ! Oh, and try go find it on youtube or etc.

Believe episode is ‘ Carb Hats for Blowers ‘

You mean hydraulic lifter preload ? Just making sure as some call it the same and some don’t.

SB 05-26-2022 12:50 PM

Btw: your distributor in the photos is not marine coast guard approved. It’s an automobile distributor.

Zole 05-26-2022 01:04 PM

O thank you god....i thout you had enough of me:rolleyes:

Yes...preload

SB 05-26-2022 01:27 PM

I do preload: back off all rockers.
Starting with cyl #1 rotate engine clockwise until intake valve just about closed adjust exhaust. As you are slowly turning exh pushrod with fingers as you tighten exh rocker arm, right when pushrod resists turning, you are at 0 preload. Tighten exh rocker arm nut 1/2 turn.

For #1 intake valve, do same procedure but when it’s exhaust valve just starts to open is when to adjust the #1 intake valve’s rocker srm.

I’m sure there are many videos and better written instructions, but that’s how you do it . 1/2 turn works on all cam/lifter manufacturers stuff for american v8’s.
