24 outlaw steering cable/helm kit
I'm replacing the steering cable on a 92 baja outlaw, the cable i pulled is part # SSC12416. Has anyone replaced the entire setup with the seastar ss141 kit? it seems my cable has been discontinued. if i do go with this kit will a 16 foot assuming its the same cable suffice or is measurement required before ordering?

I recently did the same thing. The 141 kit is nice and includes new helm. I used a 15' kit on my Checkmate 251, but a 16' would've worked also. My old boat never steered as nice as it does now.
