1997 chaparral 2130 ss.. need to replace power steering cable apparently, how can i find the length of the cable to order a new one without removing the old one first? Boat is in storage and i hate to drag it out just yet to start on it.

Get the numbers stamped on the cable. It will tell you the length.

If you don't want to compromise shrink wrap or something like that, try contacting Chappy and see if they can get you a length for your model/year
